Joanne Doyle Pauley has developed valued relationships with many of the most notable investment firms, investment banks and members of the finance community. After serving as a Senior Client Partner at Morgan Samuels Company for over a year, Joanne launched her boutique search firm in June 2022. It was time. She delivers results-oriented solutions for executive search and talent management. Her search practice focuses on post-MBA investment professionals, buy-side fund administration and senior finance-related portfolio searches. Joanne also serves as interim Head of Talent for her private equity clients.
Joanne spent two decades building a premier practice as a Managing Director at The Oxbridge Group. Prior to Oxbridge, Joanne spent five years in investment banking, private equity and executive search. Her foundation and passion for executive search began when she joined Korn Ferry International in Los Angeles, gaining Fortune 500 search experience supporting high profile searches. She was recruited to become a Junior Partner at Evercore Ventures, a former division of Evercore Partners. and later opened the Los Angeles office of The Oxbridge Group.
Over the years, Joanne has developed three core areas of expertise. She partners with her clients to conduct all levels of investment professional searches for private equity, hedge fund and alternative investment management firms. In addition to investment professional search, Joanne handles senior fund administration searches for buy-side firms and family office clients. These searches include roles in Fundraising, Investor Relations, Finance, Operations, Talent and other essential corporate functions. Lastly, she excels at M&A/Corporate Development searches for private equity portfolio companies and independent corporations.
Joanne was born in New York, is a native of Southern California and holds a BA degree in Political Science from Vanderbilt University. She is active in the community as a Founding Member of the Inner Shell (a subgroup of The Painted Turtle), a 1919 Member of The Wooden Athletic Foundation and a founder of The CoachArt Contemporaries. When not cheering for her teenagers’ sports teams or for UCLA, Joanne enjoys multiple sports, the beach, golf, her book groups, hiking and entertaining.
